Morgan Hughes

Loudounettes Team Director/Instructor

Morgan Hughes joined The Dance Academy of Loudoun family in 2018.  As a young adult, she attended programs at Universal Ballet Academy (The Kirov), Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Walnut Hill, and Alvin Alley.  She was accepted to State University of New York at Potsdam where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in dance and theatre. Morgan was the university’s 2012-2013 recipient for the Dance Performance and Choreography Award which recognizes a student who exhibits artistic strength with a strong aesthetic perspective.

Upon graduating, she moved to Washington D.C. where she’s worked professionally on the official dance team for the Washington Capitals National Hockey League (The Red Rockers) for three consecutive seasons (2013-2016).

Morgan is excited to be working with the Loudounettes again this year and teaching here at DAL!
